The Yorkshire Accountancy Awards are issuing a final call for entries ahead of the 31 October deadline, inviting firms, teams, and individuals across the region to showcase their achievements and contributions to the profession.
Celebrating excellence across the industry, the awards are open to organisations of all sizes — from sole practitioners and small independent firms to mid-tier and large regional practices. The 2026 line-up features categories designed to reflect the full breadth of the profession, including audit, tax, advisory, corporate finance, accountancy education, and in-house finance teams.
This year’s judging panel brings together respected leaders from across the UK accountancy community, including Glen Collins from ACCA, Bev Flanagan from the AAT, Kim Johnston from ICAEW, and Derek Blair, President of ICAEW West Yorkshire and York, among others.
Each category will be assessed independently and transparently, with all entries evaluated against clear, published criteria to ensure every award is won on merit. The judging process is designed to recognise genuine excellence, not firm size or reputation.
The awards have already attracted a mix of large regional firms as well as smaller and mid-sized practices, reflecting the strength and diversity of Yorkshire’s accountancy profession.
A spokesperson for the Yorkshire Accountancy Awards said:
“We’re proud to celebrate the incredible standard of accountancy talent across Yorkshire. The awards are built on fairness and transparency, and it’s inspiring to see so many firms — from long-established names to ambitious newcomers — sharing their success stories.”
The winners will be announced at a black-tie ceremony on the 26 February 2026 in Leeds, bringing together professionals from across the region for a night of recognition and celebration.
