Yorkshire Accountancy Awards 2027 to Mark 10th Anniversary with Biggest Celebration Yet

The Yorkshire Accountancy Awards will return in February 2027 for a landmark 10th anniversary edition, set to be the biggest and most exciting celebration in the event’s history.

For a decade, the awards have shone a spotlight on the very best accountancy firms and professionals across the region, bringing together industry leaders, rising stars and innovators for one of the most anticipated nights in Yorkshire’s business calendar.

The most recent ceremonies have highlighted the exceptional strength and diversity of the sector. Notable 2026 winners included Azets and Parsons Chartered Accountants, both of whom secured multiple awards on the night, alongside Tom Reid of Burberry, who was named Yorkshire Accountant of the Year.

The 2025 awards also celebrated an impressive line-up of winners, including Forvis Mazars, who took home three awards, and Richard Sykes of CloudCFO, who won Yorkshire Accountant of the Year, an accolade previously described by former winner Bev Flanagan as “life-changing”.

These firms and individuals, alongside many others recognised over the past decade, represent the benchmark for excellence in client service, innovation and growth within the profession.

Beyond the accolades, the Yorkshire Accountancy Awards has built a reputation for delivering a truly memorable live experience, combining industry recognition with top-tier entertainment. The event has welcomed a series of high-profile celebrity hosts over the years, adding energy, humour and personality to the evening.

Past hosts include acclaimed comedian and Mock the Week regular Gary Delaney, inspirational speaker and former Royal Marine JJ Chalmers, The Chase quizzer and stand-up comedian Paul Sinha, and Britain’s Got Talent finalist Daliso Chaponda. Each has brought their own unique style to the stage, helping to create an atmosphere that goes far beyond a traditional awards ceremony and into a full-scale celebration.

With 2027 marking a major milestone, organisers are planning an enhanced experience to reflect the 10-year journey of the awards. Guests can expect an elevated production, standout entertainment and a few surprises to make this anniversary edition the most talked-about yet.

Demand for the event continues to rise each year, and with limited capacity, firms and professionals are encouraged to secure their place early by joining the VIP list.
