The Yorkshire Accountancy Awards 2026 brought glitz, glamour and well-deserved recognition to New Dock Hall in Leeds on 27 February, as hundreds of professionals from across the region gathered to celebrate excellence in accountancy and finance.
The annual awards, which recognise outstanding firms, teams and individuals across Yorkshire’s thriving accountancy and bookkeeping sector, showcased the depth of talent, innovation and leadership within the profession.
Chair of the independent judging panel, Graham Batty, President of the AAT, opened proceedings with a speech congratulating those shortlisted.
“Tonight is about celebrating the achievements of you, the accountants of Yorkshire,” he said. “Thank you to all those shortlisted, you certainly did not give the judges an easy time. There were some outstanding entries and a lot of debate to arrive at the final decisions.”
