For the third year Parsons is celebrating multiple successes at the highly prestigious Yorkshire Accountancy Awards.
A team of twelve attended the ceremony at the Royal Armouries, proudly representing the firm across six shortlisted categories: Managing Partner of the Year, Partner of the Year, Team of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, Trainee of the Year and Support Staff of the Year.
The team celebrated multiple successes at the annual event, which recognises outstanding firms, teams and individuals across Yorkshire’s accountancy sector.
Support Staff of the Year
Alex Rose, Business Support Manager was one of three shortlisted in this category and the only individual nominee. Since joining Parsons, Alex has played a pivotal role in the firm’s operational and strategic development including redesigning the apprentice recruitment process, facilitating firm-wide engagement sessions, developing competency frameworks and supporting strategic planning initiatives.
The judges commented: “We recognised a winner that plays an essential role in the success of the organisation, consistently adding value across a wide range of critical functions. A clear commitment to excellence, quality and innovation was evident in everything they do, with their contribution extending beyond day-to-day operations to support the wider business and profession.”
Rising Star of the Year
Daniel Andreca, Tax Director joined Parsons in February 2025 and has since transformed the firm’s tax offering. Over the past year, the firm’s compliance and advisory services has expanded significantly, strengthening client retention and creating opportunities for growth.
The judges commented: “This individual as a complete standout, delivering huge, measurable results underpinned by exceptional technical excellence. Beyond their role, the extent of their contribution to graduates, apprenticeships and wider community support was particularly impressive, marking them out as an outstanding rising star within the profession.”
Parsons is also celebrating it’s other shortlisted nominees – Ian Parsons, Managing Partner, Ammaarah Patel, Business Services and Tax Executive and their Audit Team. Being shortlisted in such competitive categories reflects a year of meaningful progress and growth for Parsons.
