Just six weeks left to enter the Yorkshire Accountancy Awards 2026

Firms and professionals across Yorkshire have just over six weeks left to enter the Yorkshire Accountancy Awards 2026, the region’s most prestigious celebration of accountancy excellence. With the entry deadline fast approaching, now is the time to secure your place on the shortlist and showcase your achievements to clients, peers, and the wider industry.

Winning — or even being shortlisted — at the Yorkshire Accountancy Awards provides powerful recognition, enhances credibility with clients, boosts team morale, and opens doors to new business opportunities. Past winners have used the accolade to strengthen tenders, attract top talent, and raise their profile across the region.

New categories announced

The 2026 awards are bigger than ever, with three new categories giving firms and individuals more ways to be recognised:

  • Bookkeeping practice of the year – celebrating firms delivering accurate, compliant, and client-focused bookkeeping solutions.

  • Forensic Accounting Award – recognising outstanding skill in investigating financial discrepancies, supporting legal cases, and providing expert analysis.

  • Private Client Award – rewarding excellence in tax, estate planning, wealth management, trusts, and probate.

Full entry criteria for all categories are available on the Awards website.

A transparent judging process

Entries will be judged by an independent panel of senior industry figures, including Bev Flanagan (AAT), Glenn Collins (ACCA), Derek Blair (ICAEW), Kim Johnston (ICAEW), David Potts (AIA), and Collins Ntim (BAFA).

To help entrants achieve top scores, the Yorkshire Accountancy Awards has published a clear guide to the judging process, outlining how submissions are assessed and how firms can present their strongest case. This ensures fairness, impartiality, and complete transparency.
